Bleach OC: Kiba Takeba Shikai (Updated)

Sorry about the length of time between uploads. School and all. I'm such a horrible person D:

Anyway. I've been practicing and this is the result. Here's Kiba with his Shikai, Hanagasaku. It's a basic melee Shikai in the form of a claymore. Nothing really special about it, haha. It's much longer than that, it's just pointed back.

Background Information: Kiba is usually a serious fellow, rarely (if ever) smiling. He has a scowl plastered on his face 24/7 and very rarely talks. He typically shows immense apathy for foes, however, he is extremely loyal to those close to him. Kiba shows extreme patience on the battlefield, primarily being defensive and never taking the first shot. Kiba sticks strictly to the rules, hardly swaying from the orders presented to him unless the situation deems it appropriate.

Shikai appearance: Weapon turns into large claymore, right arm gauntlet turns to bandages
Shikai special ability: Collects any blood through the sword to be cast out as kidou blasts
Bankai name: Shinku Hanagasaku (Blooming Red Rose)
Bankai appearance: Turns into a large greatsword with a flat tip, bandages wrap around the blade, shikai bandages go all the way up the right arm.
Bankai special ability: His bankai is able to absorb blood and do three things with it
- Heal – He is able to transfuse the blood and repair wounds on his body and that of his allies
- Kidou blasts/slashes – Like in shikai, the blood can be turned into kidou energy and used in slashes from his blade and blasts from his bandaged arm
- Absorb power – A unique ability that allows Kiba to gain reiatsu based on the amount of blood taken in. Through various tests done by the 12th division, it seems that the limit of blood intake is 2 liters. This power increase only affects bankai. The blood absorption can only affect a target once, no matter how little or how much blood has been taken in (ie if a target has been slashed once and a liter of blood is taken in, then no more blood can be taken in even though there is about a 2 liter limit).
- The sword however has a limit to how much unused blood can be stored within it. If Kiba takes in too much blood, then it will begin to have an adverse affect on his body.
Signature Move: (blooming rose wind) – Kiba spins around rapidly, slashing with the blood turned kidou, creating a tornado like appearance that he can cast in any direction. Once cast, he cannot control the tornado (due to his skill in kidou being 0)
Inner world appearance: A vast expanse of broken platforms, each with black and white tiles, a black misty sky rains down columns of blood, a lake of molten, boiling blood lies below

Intelligence: (9/10) Very intelligent, good at long term thinking, but not so much in terms of “in the moment”
Strength: (7/10) Fairly strong, he is commonly misconstrued as weak for he typically stays on the defensive
Speed: (5/10) Average, Kiba is not typically one to move around in battle anyway, speed is of no importance to him
Endurance: (7 /10) Fairly enduring, he has faced many an enemy that has tested his endurance on the defensive, but when it comes to offensive, he’s pretty average
Sword handling: (9/10) High sword skill, when lugging around a big sword and using it for defense, Kiba would need this kind of skill
Shunpo: (5/10) Average, he’s not the fastest, and he typically doesn’t use his speed anyway
Kidou: (0/10) Non-existant, Kiba was never proficient at kidou and thus never learned it properly
Spiritual power: (7/10) Above average, however, he down plays it and heavily masks it to make his enemies fall into a false sense of security
